After much debating with Dh I found a table that we both love. I'm in the process of adding black cross backed chairs. Our other table was much too large for our small dining nook (it was 240 x 140cm), and the chairs were too formal for my space.
I think I got it right?

We just got the same chairs for our new kitchen (in white with black cross backs though) - I think they look great in black too :)

I do love those cross backed chairs in all the colours that they come in. Even though my house is contemporary I love the homey feel they bring.
Now I just have to get rid of my old table.
Not a good look with 2 tables in a small home!
