Well we have the modular in grey. I'm very happy with it except Dh and I both feel we need a separate chair each. What do you think would suit. We are tempted to just go the same as the sofa as I like the big arms to sit my pattern on while I am embroidering. Do you think it would be too matchy and too bulky? Also the sofa is lower than I thought it would be so don't know what will look OK with it. Help, I have no idea.

I would definitely go with something different, something with a higher back and possibly covered in a pattern. I think this would be a good balance to the square, plain look of the modular. There are some gorgeous and interesting shaped chairs around now. P xx

I ended up going with the Archie chair from Oz in a charcoal velvet. I wasn't game enough to go with a pattern, in case we move house.
I will go a patterned rug and pick up the colours in it for cushions.
