Not happy

I'm not happy with our overhead cabinets. They don't reach the ceiling and there is a gap.

I thought the cabinet maker would be installing a bulkhead but no it doesn't appear so.

There is no way I am getting up and cleaning the top of the cabinets.

Should I install a bulkhead or get it plastered?

From this to this

After much debating with Dh I found a table that we both love. I'm in the process of adding black cross backed chairs. Our other table was much too large for our small dining nook (it was 240 x 140cm), and the chairs were too formal for my space.

I think I got it right?

My Christmas present

I am waiting for my new Thermomix to arrive. I will be able to get rid of most of my cooking appliances and free up cupboard space.

It's going to turn me into a wonderful cook!

Some outdoor furniture

Our deck is all ready for summer evenings of wine and nibbles. Now we just need some plastic outdoor blinds!

Stonework finished

Today the tiler finished sealing the blade wall. Now I just need to find a letterbox.

Home sweet home.

At last we have moved in. We are both exhausted but loving it. Still heaps to do.
