The modular sofa

OK, I've gone and done it. I've ordered this new modular sofa in a mid grey. It won't arrive for 8 - 10 weeks though. I think it's going to be perfect.  I may add a feature chair at some stage.

The new project

My daughter and I have an exciting new project - a small townhouse. I found this townhouse on my travels today and it has a similar  colour scheme to ours.

We just have to find out if we are allowed to use a colourbond roof as it has a heritage overlay.

Problem room

Hi everyone, I'm just out of hospital after having an operation for a blocked tear duct.
I look a lot worse than I feel so I am not able to go out. I've been spending a bit of time watching DVD's in the family room.
It is not looking quite right. Any advice would be welcome.
I have been looking a Dare gallery and wondering about getting two chairs and maybe just keeping one sofa for the moment.
I put some garden chairs in the room just to see what looks best.

Help please.

Kitchen changes

It took a while to convince Dh that some changes needed to be made in the kitchen.
I wasn't happy about the way the window in the kitchen turned out, so had it removed.
Just had the splashback man in this morning to install a new one.

I'm thrilled with the colour and how nice it looks all in one piece.
Also got a bulk head.

A magical wedding in the rain

I was thrilled to be asked to make a flowergirl dress for a little girl to wear to her parents wedding.

Although it rained during the service it was still a night filled with magic.

Mimosa Cottage

I've always wanted a doll house. I say you're never to old for one.

Hubby put Mimosa Cottage together for me over the weekend.

Lots of fun ahead decorating it and buying furniture.

I'm going to rename it Springdale Cottage.

Can't wait to get started.

The Kitchen Garden

I'm delighted with the vegie boxes hubby has made. We will soon be eating home grown produce (I hope).
